	Parents' Information on Children Internet Safety Internet is fun and a great resource for kids' homework but unfortunately, it is also full of dangers if kids are using the net without any supervision. There are bad people out there preying on the innocence of children for their evil ends. It is always important to keep an eye on your children's net activities while give them some kind of independence. The following are the Dos & Don'ts that parents should be aware of:
DOS
	Educate your children about the possible dangers of the Internet. Install net filtering software. Install virus protection software. Supervise your children when they are surfing or chatting online. Tell your children not to give out any information about themselves especially their real names, where they live and which school they are attending. Tell your children not to answer any E-mail if they don't know the sender. Tell your children never to meet any of their net friends in real life without permission. Tell your children never download anything from the net without your knowledge. Report to your ISP should you receive E-mail of pornography or harassment. You can also report the incident to Internet Watch Foundation at www.iwf.org.uk.
DON'TS
	Leave your children chatting online without any supervision. Leave your children to surf the net without any supervision. Leave your children to open E-mail from unknown sources. Let your children to know the pass word for the Internet connection. Let your children to send out any of their photos without your knowledge. Let your children to download anything from the net without your knowledge.
